Ingredients
-
FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP:
-
1 cup, sugar
-
1 cup, water
-
FOR THE MOCKTAILS:
-
8 cups, cubed ripe seedless watermelon
-
1/2 cup, simple syrup
-
1/2 cup, fresh lime juice
-
6 STIKs, HOLISTIK Wellness stress
-
for rimming glasses, pink himalayan salt (or kosher or plain sea salt)
-
a few, ice cubes
-
garnish, lime wedges
Directions
For the simple syrup:
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat while stirring occasionally until mixture comes to a boil. Simmer for 1 minute, stirring, then remove from heat. The mixture should be clear. Pour into a container and refrigerate several hours until cold.
Alternatively, to keep it simple, purchase the simple syrup :) Though if you make it, it will keep for 1-2 weeks in the refrigerator.
For the mocktails:
Place cubed watermelon in a blender. Use the “juice” button or blend for about 45 seconds until the mixture is smooth and frothy on top.
Add 1/2 cup cold simple syrup and fresh lime juice to the blender. Pop & pour 6 HOLISTIK Wellness stress STIKs into blender (save the STIKs for decoration). Blend again for several seconds.
Pour salt onto a plate. Rub the rims of glasses with lime juice. Dip the glasses into the sea salt.
Fill the glasses with ice. Pour margarita mixture over the ice.
Garnish glasses with lime wedges and place the stress STIK for a STIR and extra flare.
Recipe Note
You can store extra margarita mix in the refrigerator. Mix in the blender to freshen.
Try a HOLISTIK recover STIK for a ginger twist.
Add jalapeno for a kick similar to a classic margarita.
Use agave instead of lime juice for an extra salty and sweet rim.
