Blueberry Ginger Cooler
Blueberry ginger sugar syrup combines with lemon lime sparkling water in this refreshing cooler! Its unique flavor profile makes this drink a perfect and special way to cool down on hot days!
1 ¼ cups fresh blueberries
1 heaping tbsp grated ginger
4-5 tbsp sugar
2-3 cans lemon-lime sparking water (unsweetened)
6 HOLISTIK Wellness stress STIKs
a few ice cubes
a few mint leaves
Add water, blueberries and grated ginger to a pan on medium high heat. Let it all come to a boil.
Once the mixture starts boiling, add sugar and mix until it dissolves.
Lower the heat. Using the back of a spatula, mash the blueberries. Let the mixture simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
Remove from heat. Once the syrup has cooled down, cover it with a cling sheet and let sit at room temperature for 2-3 hours. (This is important so that the flavors mix-in well.)
After 2-3 hours, strain the syrup into a clear bowl. At this point you can cover and keep it refrigerate until ready to use.
To serve the blueberry ginger cooler, fill 2/3 of a glass with the syrup, and add ice cubes.
Add lemon-lime sparkling water on top of the syrup. Also add 1 HOLISTIK Wellness stress STIK. Stir well.
Garnish with some fresh blueberries and mint leaves and enjoy!
